Carnival & Sunday

Well, yesterday was officially the most scariest day of my life, well actually, 2nd most, well actually, I really am not sure, but somewhere in the 1st and 2nd mark, for sure. So anyway, because of this horrible storm, no short of a hurricane, I began scribbling a will for myself in crayon, crayon! I know, I was desperate, but there was nothing else in the basement, besides house paint that is... Anyway, I was also petrified because my brother, mother, and grandmother were at my brother's soccer game and were driving home in a BLACK car, I kept on calling to ask where they were, and when they came I went running outside to hug each of them for 10 minutes each.

Enough of the scary stuff, let me tell you about something semi-fun. Today was our school carnival, which may I say did not deserve $10.00 at all, more like 1 but whatever, who is going to listen to me, the teachers, the principal, not a chance... So anyway, my friends Jessica and Shreya were with me the entire time and we were planning to set the world, well school, record for not going on any rides the whole day. Well, we did I great job until lunch, at lunch I saw Katherina and Jasmine and Odelia, (Cherisse, Kiana, Kayla...Etc) and asked if they had been on any rides, all of them except Katherina had, and considering that she has also done this, I invited her to join Shreya, Jessica, and me in our mission to not go on a ride all day, gladly, she accepted.

Later that day around, 12:00 or something like that, we got wet, (and I mean soaking) by some kids and teachers who were hosing us, I have to admit, it was probably the best part of my day, and I wouldn't have minded if they made us pay $5.00 for that all day, really! So anyway, later, about an hour or so, the calculator was nagging me to go on this obstacle race with her, and eventually, I caved in, and I went on it. Well, I beat her, and when I went on again, I beat Jessica, I was so happy, and the water I was splashed in was starting to dry as well. But as much as I would like to say goodnight right now, I need to tell you about something else, Sammy.

Yes, Sammy came back to school today, and along with himself, he also brought his horrible attitude. Why, Shreya, Jessica, and I were sitting at a portable, and Navalpreet and Praveen come and sit, ok I am fine with that, but all of a sudden Sammy and his friends, Abina and Sophie come along and think they have the right to kick Jessica and just take our spot! I was furious and was about to speak my mind when they said, "If you aren't black, get off this portable" Oh my gosh, I was burning with fury, and was so ready to tackle them when Shreya suggested we leave, well just because we did, didn't mean I didn't have stuff to say, so as we searched for somewhere else in shade to sit, I vented.

But seriously, why do people have to be like that. Not to sound racist or anything, but when you say something to some black people, they start going, "Oh you're just being racist to me because I am Black!" Or something along the lines of "(--blah blah insert why are you doing this talk here--) ...because I am Black!" I mean, being any religion doesn't give you special privileges, and FYI we are not being racist, you are being racist by saying the whole get off thing, and for considering us other people for being racist, just because we aren't Black, (I hope that made sense)... Well, enough venting for now, I need sleep, after all, I am going to Microsoft Canada tomorrow! Well, good night!
