Track and Field Trip

Because, (yes I am starting a sentence with because, deal with it) my class is a band class, and the majority went to the Wonderland trip, I had to find something to do with myself. Quite frankly I was thinking of staying home and watching TV until my eyes fell out, but luckily, Mr.Dyck, our very nice gym teacher, (and my old homeroom teacher) requested all of us un-wanted children to come with him to the track and field tournament to time the people for the races. Well, it beat my plan, so a few days later the calculator and I went. When I first got to school that day, I was confused, I didn't know what I should do, and felt like sitting outside our classroom waiting for Mr.Stewart to ask what I was doing, but fortunately I saw the calculator on my way there, and we read a sign on the door telling us to go to the gym. When we went to the gym, nobody except some boys were there, so we just sat there listening to the announcements and O Canada. Well, after 10 minutes or so, we couldn't take it anymore so we walked outside the gym and started wondering what we should do next. Well, eventually we decided to go to Thoony Borges's room and see what we could do until 9:15, which was supposedly the time we were supposed to be leaving, well, based on what Miss Barker told us anyway... So anyway, in Thoony's room we got stuck in a tight situation explaining how Mr.Dyck needs us for the trip, after a while he let us go and we ran into Mr.Dyck and he asked us where these other 3 guys who were supposed to be coming with us were, so off we went in search of J, P, and A. Well, we walked into I think 3 different classrooms, and had really weird people stare at us, and ask what we were doing and... well actually, I'd rather not re-live that moment if it is okay with you. Well, later we ran into Mr.Dyck again and told him we couldn't find them, he got really mad and said they were irresponsible, and whatnot. He also said that he would try looking and we should wait in the gym. Well, (wow I have used that word so much now) being the kids calculator and I are, we ignored his instructions, and went up to Thoony's room to see if somehow, they had ended up there. Well, according to Thoony, they never came up there, and he thinks they never came to school. That was great, we spent our whole morning being embarrassed by awkward people, only to find out, those idiots never came to school. So, while I was suggesting we go back to the gym like Mr.Dyck asked, calculator said we should just wait in Thoony's room, and entertain ourselves. I liked her idea, and showed her my blog, she said the name was weird, but I personally like it, don't you? So anyway, later they called all the track and field people to the gym, so off we went. There we were talking about how funny some people looked, and next thing we knew we were boarding the bus. On the bus we played this celebrity name game, where you have to name a celebrity with the last letter of the name of the previous one, (it is a lot more fun than the description). When we finally got there, (I am not saying the name of the park, personal info) calculator and I were confused. We did not know where to go or what to do, the only thing Mr.Dyck told us was to wait for him, so that is what we did. After 5 minutes or so, we felt SUPER useless and asked Mrs.Malcher what we should do. To tell you the truth, it was pointless, for she didn't know what to do either. Later Mr.Dyck came back and saved us. He said we were working on the opposite side of the field, and the other 2 guys who were with us tried jumping the fence, but in vain. So, like us they had to run around to the other side of the track. There we had a little tent, in which there were buttons to press to time people, I had lane 4, (thus button 4) and for some reason, I kept jinxing people. Literally, I mean everyone in my lane LOST! When I told all the other people, they laughed, can you believe it, they LAUGHED! Well, I had to show them, so the next guy who came in my lane was actually winning and was doing great until he turned the corner, you won't believe it, he just stopped! I mean, he was doing so well, and then he just stopped! Urgh, everyone was laughing, but I was furious, so when he finally crossed the finish line, (like 10 minutes after the race ended), I yelled "You run like a girl!" Luckily, nobody heard. So that is pretty much how the rest of the trip went, and we got lunch really late, I mean REALLY late. After about... 1 1/2 hours after lunch, we packed up and were going back to school. On our way to the bus, calculator and this guy raced and calculator won, after that he was coming up with excuse after excuse as to why he lost. I hate it when people do that, I mean, why can't some people accept the fact they lost at something? Well, not like Miss Barker said we did miss our buses and were forced to call for a ride home. Well, nobody at my house was there, so I went home with calculator, as in, she dropped me to my house, no hers. It was fun waiting, we made up stories as to why her dad was taking so long, and I came to the conclusion that he went to the wrong school, and picked up 2 girls that looked like us. Finally, when he did come I had to give directions to my house, and boy... was that fun. Well, on the contrary, I go to meet goosh, I mean, her little sister, who was making a funny face, I laughed, in my head, she was so cute. Later when I got home I realized it was time to do my homework, and boy did that suck. I had to do a letter V for my year-long school project, and had to study for my school exams, (I hate Mrs.Dattani, so so much). At like, 11:00 I finally finished and went to sleep, well, actually, I tried striking a conversation with my asleep brother, which went something like this:

Me: So, how was school?
Him: ...
Me: Fine, don't tell me! But remember, I know you're secret!
Him: ...
Me: If you don't say anything I am the best in the world!
Him: ...
Me: Thank-you, and maybe I should go to sleep now, good-night.
Him: (1 hour later) ...

So, I think that's enough blogging for now, I want to do something else, bye!

Hey, I think this is my longest entry ever, well, go figure, but you know what I mean, right?
