Black History Month Celebration at Calderstone Middle School in Brampton, Canada
Since Obama has taken the office of the President of United States, there is continuing celebration not only in his country but elsewhere as well. Here is a first hand glimpse of this celebration at the Black History Day at a local school in Canada.

AKA ours.
That's awesome. How often are people mentioned in articles for doing an assembly?
On another note, we seem to be in public a lot. Battalions, Wonderland (even though I wasn't there), and now this.

-Stalkers appear out of nowhere-
Why, thank you, Ghazal.
Well, we were in the news for the Father-Son reading thing, but that was all because of Pinball Clemons.
And we do have a Wikipedia article.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the stalkers. But they'd never hurt me. -is trying to remember a conversation that started like this-
Pinball Clemons... Is that the happy you-can-do-it-attitude football player?
Where? I want to see it.

Jessica said...

He's the "STAR" guy.
Google the school and put "wiki" next to it and it should show up.

Ghazal said...

Well, we can call Pinball to help us...

Anonymous said...

Ah, him.
Darn. I thought we'd get a mention.
Do you even know his phone number?

You can see me in the picture (sorta) I'm in the far right! :D

Ghazal said...

You can see me too, I little bit, but I am there. As for the number, that is where Mr. Bhattal will finally come in handy.

Jessica said...

-gasp-
He will?

That's just unbelievable. Mr.Bhattal coming in handy. Everyone, let it be remembered that he is with Humberview, and for a gifted school, Humberview's paper people are idiots. I had 6 classes, and Kavita had 16. There has to be something wrong with this. -finishes rant-
And no one can see me. I must be too short.

Jessica said...

That's what your grade 10-next-year friend is for!

Anonymous Jameson said...

Yeah, then we'll go through the same routine as we did when we went on the tour.

Jessica said...

I'll switch partners then.

Anonymous said...

Why? If anyone would want to switch partners, it'd be me.

Ghazal said...

I am pretty sure she meant switch with you.

Ghazal said...

I am pretty sure she meant switch with you.

Jessica said...

That IS what I meant...
I think Jameson's lost a few brain cells.

Anonymous Jameson said...

Oh. I thought you meant you wanted to switch with some other random person.
Deal. He'd better not show me off to his friends, though.
It might have been when I was trying to run S-Boy into a wall.

Jessica said...

He won't, he was the short-guy-with-glasses who knows Mickey.
And interesting to know...

Anonymous Jameson said...

Mickey? I still don't know who Mickey is...
What's interesting?

Ghazal said...

Think about it Jameson... Mickey... In band... Near the back... As unique as stale bread... Spiffy clothes... Sour keys with marshmallows... Ring a bell?

Anonymous said...

OOOOOOHHHH! Now I know. But I only got it when you said "sour keys and marshmallows".
Can we just get a list? I'd be much easier.

Jessica said...

-will write up list-

Ghazal said...

Okay, we should add a couple of names to it.

Ghazal said...

I will give you a list of them (verbally) on Monday.

Jessica said...

Or Tuesday.

Ghazal said...

Yeah, or that.

Jessica said...

Or Wednesday.

Anonymous said...

How 'bout just plain old writing? Because you told me most of them, and I forgot them.

Jessica said...

And I'm overly forgetful, so that's not good.
