Cocaine as a flavouring?

I just read an article (which I will post at the bottom) which says that a recent experiment [sampling] showed that the popular energy drink, Red Bull, contains 0.4 micrograms of cocaine in it. It also shows that the leaves of cocaine are used as flavouring agents in many drinks. Thank goodness I have never drank Red Bull... It has already been banned in German states, but apparently North America thinks it is alright...

That's about as weird as medical marijuana.

o.o drugs in drinks? I would have guessed crystal meth...
*shrug*
so THAT explains why it makes people so hyper and why there are some people that get addicted to it...

Well, I've always heard Red Bull is bad for you, this kind of proves it.

HA! I knew it! Cocaine always made me sleepy and Redbull did that too, so I knew there had to be some sort of connection!

I jest, I jest.

No but seriously, if that's true, then I've probably done a lot of coke, because I'm addicted to Redbull. o.O

So it did have an effect on you! Luckily, I have never tried Red Bull or cocaine, but the funny thing is, they sell it in airports and it is a drug. Well, it contains drugs.
