Today was one of those days...

In a nutshell today was amazing. Okay, maybe interesting. I had a lot of mixed emotions, though a lot of them centered around hitting Derek **laughs**, Ian did not agree to help and I was scared. Anyway, let me explain what happened in detail, since I feel like giving Jessica the entire story (since she went to Think Bowl and came in second- congratulations).

Morning: On the bus I got into another argument with Harleen and everything about that morning was driving me up the wall. Some girl said "Look! A geese!" a boy said "I bited my apple." and Harleen told me she could not dance when we all know that is a lie. She is awesome. Anyway, when we got to school I ranted for a grand total of about 2 seconds when Aisha ran into the classroom and told me to meet her in Mr. Zuberi's room (the music room) as soon as I put my book on the table. After I put my books on the table I followed Aisha's instructions and realized they wanted a morning dance practice, since we are doing a Bollywood dance in front of the school. Yes, you heard me right, I am dancing. If any of you are curious, to this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=514Eopr-hpI (ignore the video). What it means is to take a chance and dance. Anyway, we practiced and I had fun, although my mood was close to ruined when I saw Aishwarya there, apparently she will be dancing too... Anyway, we kept on dancing until the bell rang and we were stuck in the room waiting for "O Canada" to finish. During the anthem Harleen and Aisha were fighting so we all kept "shushing" them. It was funny. "Oh yeah? Well I am going to- SHUSH!" After "O Canada" we ran to get out of the music room because we did not officially get permission to be there. Only, we almost made it out when Mr. Zuberi came in and said he could get into a lot of trouble for us being here without permission, I said I got permission because as I ran out the door I vaguely told Miss Dias where I was going. On my way out, he told me I have a practice on Tuesday at lunch and after school.

When I got back to class everyone was setting up the Asian door decoration for Asian History Month and I had to search for "Asian" in Russian. It ended up looking like this, Азиатско, so I said, "It is so like the Russians to take an innocent word like 'Asian' and make it look like 'attack'- though I was joking. Then, after we set up our door and I explained how to write the word to everyone (Jessica also left during this time), Miss Dias insisted that we go to 8G1 and see what their door looked like, so off we went. Their door was really extra, with lanterns and everything, but everyone agreed that ours was so much better. Then we took the long route back to class and looked at everyone else's doors and thought that we had a fair chance of winning, until we saw Ms. Dattani's. Oh well, we tried. After we came back to class and went outside because Miss Dias thought it was a nice day. Outside, Dev and I showed some people our dance moves, I helped Navjeet with her poems, Dev and Melanie did a really funny monologue, and we found out that Miss Dias was going to be in a pani puri eating contest http://www.bunrab.com/dailyfeed/dailyfeed_images_08-01Jan/df08_01_21_paniporri.jpg. Then, we all went inside because the block was going to end in about 2 minutes.

Next block we had L.A. which was not as boring as you would expect it to be. Mr Jacobs thought we did not know what a sentence was, I answered a question, I read some of my old work because I got so bored of what he had to say, and the block passed by reasonably fast.

Then, we had gym. As we were changing in the changeroom Kavita discovered that she did not have a gym shirt, so she asked if anyone had one. Devoniesh said she did and gave Kavita one, but warned her that it had been sitting in her locker for a long time. Kavita said that was okay- big mistake. Upon putting the shirt on she immediately took it off and said it smelled like rotten goat milk. Dev laughed and said the smell was "100% Devoniesh". Ew. Then I started laughing at Kavita's face, though I shouldn't have, because she stuffed the shirt in my face and told me to smell it. **Gags** Then we went outside (into the gym) and found out that we were starting lacrosse! A sport I am actually good at. The key is the "Will you marry me?" pose. During this time Navjeet had to go home because she was going to Japan for the first time ever! Ja mata! Then we changed again, and Kavita tried to stuff the shirt in my face again, but this time I was ready and threw it... on Alice. If you know Alice, you can only imagine what she did to me...

Then we had math. Upon entering I complimented Ms. Parmar's door decoration and we did a simple probability sheet. Do not worry Jess, I got one for you. Then, we corrected it and got the rest of the block off! I ended up talking to Dev, Guneet, Mel, and Saynuka. As we were leaving Derek pointed to me and said "When she was a young nerd!"singing it the way the line "When I was a young warthog" is sang in Lion King by Timon and Pumba. This is when I felt like hitting him, but instead I asked Ian, and he ingored me.

Then, we had lunch! As we rounded the corner I saw Jameson so he and I walked to my locker together and then to class. In class I was really thirsty and did not have a drink so Jameson went and got one from Harleen for me, thanks buddy! Then, some perverted things happened... Also, at the end of lunch when Mr. Stewart came in and said "Look at what time it is! Some people are still eating! Isn't that odd?" he began laughing histarically after that, and as soon as he left, Dev
whispered"It was not funny!" and the entire class burst out laughing.

Recess started out normal. I was walking with Dev, Jameson, and Natasha, when Christian came out of nowhere and sprayed me with Axe, so now, thanks to him, I smell like a guy. After that we all ran after him and stole his shoes, giving them back in a second. Then we all sat in a circle and talked, and then Dev noticed Alex and his girlfriend sitting near us being all "lovey-dovey" and she said she wanted a guy- so the "Man Hunt" (literally) began. She walked up to every single guy asking if he was single and checking if they were "compatible". She tried lying down with Chai, hugging Lareb, and asking 2 sixth graders if they were "single". She then found a "friend" and told him to scout for her. I can not repeat it, but it was insane! She even went up to Ms. Parmar and asked for any good guys...

Then, when recess ended, we had L.A. where we wrote down notes about picture poems, and I was once again lost in my old work.

Then we had our science test. At the beginning of class when Mr. Pitter was handing out the tests he said "Don't touch them!" and when Guneet did, she was sent out of class. It was all light-hearted though, so it was hilarious. In the middle of the test Mr. Pitter kept telling Gunnet to "Sit straight" and "Don't cheat!" and Chai walked in and cleaned his shoes... Kavita said something hilarious about his clothes and as we were doing our test Mr. Pitter plugged his iPod speakers in and we all jumped. Especially Dev. Then we took up the other class's tests and realized that a lot of people failed. I think I got at least 4-5 wrong. Then Guneet was allowed to come back in and we all made fun of Dakari's shoes. I also fixed his collars and he said "No! Now I look like a student!" and then Dev said, "Go figure!" and I said, "You know Dakari, Soulja Boy got straight A's in school!" and we all laughed.

Lastly, we had geography where we finished copying notes and read some new chapters which will be on the test, and we were all agitated by the end of class. My hand still hurts. As we were leaving, some girls came in through the back door and Ms. Parmar whined, "No! Look what you did! You ruined the door!" and as soon as we got out Dev, Guneet, and I bursted out laughing. It was so funny.

On the bus ride home nothing of consequence happened.

Lastly, Dev, Guneet, and I are going to skip school on Monday- we are so bad! Well, it is actually Victoria day... Happy birthday Queen Victoria!

Navjeet went to Japan? Wow. Don't worry, I know what you're talking about.
No you don't smell like a guy. You smell like those stupid girls in our gym class.
You all had fun =( I'm jealous.
