What really happened today

As you can see, I have a formal introduction to today below, I wrote that so I can refer to it in the future and show my children what happened today. Anyway, today was a historic day, as you can tell and many... interesting things happened.

  • I almost missed my bus this morning because I was struggling to get "The Scream" to fit into a picture frame
  • The whole day at school during our classes we watched the inauguration of Barack Obama
  • During the lunch period Jessica, Harleen, Aisha, Sonia, and I were in Mr. Vincent's room watching it
  • Aisha and I were laughing at some of the awkward positions people were in when the video froze
  • Harleen was drawing Sonia
  • Jessica was reading the Host
  • Jameson was acting like the Statue of Liberty
  • Devoniesh asked if she could be on my blog, (here you are)
  • President Obama made a great speech, now if only Mozilla recognized his name...
  • After lunch we had French where we took up our worksheets in preparation for the test on Thursday
  • Next we had art, where I gave Mrs. Lewis "The Scream" and the class clapped for me, I felt shy...
  • I tried to hand in my drawing practice sheet but it got rejected and I have to do 2 of the boxes over again
  • Ian was being annoying by asking me out over and over again, by the way he scared me twice today...
  • I forgot to mention, in the morning I found a picture in the geography textbook of a woman who looked just like our geography teacher
  • Then we had math where we did our tests and Devoniesh acted strange...
  • Our math teacher said we did bad... I am scared.
  • That is all, unless you care that when I came home I learnt that John Kennedy has a seizure at the presidential luncheon...

The WHOLE day? Man, we only watched it for 2 periods and lunch.
Good thing I didn't have a torch.
Mozilla?
Your geography teacher is famous.
When? I want to see that seizure!

Yes. From the beginning to the end.
Mozilla keeps underlining his name.
I know, she said it was her.
It was not televised.

We only saw it for 3 periods, I don't know what she's going on about.
MOZILLA IS A COMPANY. FIREFOX IS THE BROWSER.
Sorry, that's bugged me for a while.

But Mozilla is the reason Firefox underlines it. Oh my goodness, my mom just called a Blackberry a "blueberry". **Laughs her head off**

-Laughs Head Off-
That was the funniest thing I've ever heard. Literally.
I know but it's still FIREFOX and nobody cares about the difference anyways.
If we all had Thunderbird, would you call THAT "Mozilla" as well??

Alright, I see your point. I think this "blueberry" thing is going to be the next Anonymousu (or whatever his name was).

Jessica said...

No, it's not creepy enough, just funny for tech geeks everywhere.

Ghazal said...

The "blueberry"! Maybe the next Mickey?

Jessica said...

Yes.
Or maybe we could sell the idea.
Then they have a great commercial, and we have lots of money, all thanks to your mom.

My mom and her tendency to know nothing about technology.

Jessica said...

Yay for your mom and her tendency to know nothing about technology!

Ghazal said...

It is also funny considering she works at a store where they sell Blackberries... No pun intended.

Jessica said...

And now I think that joke just went to a whole new level.

Ghazal said...

I know. I will have to thank her for it tonight.

Jessica said...

Really? My mom would be like, "OH MY GOSH YOUR SO RUDE WHY DID YOU TEEELL THEM!"

Ghazal said...

She doesn't exactly know I heard... I was upstairs at the time.

Jessica said...

Exactly.

Ghazal said...

So she cannot criticize me.

Jessica said...

I suppose.
My mom would find a way, though.

**Shifts uncomfortably** Did you happen to tell her?
