Yesterday was the farthest thing from boring ever

Today, as you can tell was an eventful day. Or should I say extremely eventful. It started out with morning band practice, to which I arrived early. Shortly after I arrived Katrina came, and one girl called her over and she tripped on a clarinet case. Trying to be nice, I tried my hardest not to laugh, really! In the end it was sarcasm which one, I responded by saying, "Niiiiiice". After that everyone except Jessica and Sonia came, so I naturally, was wondering where they were, and as soon as I voiced my concern out loud, they walked in. A little ironic if you ask me. Then we got new music, Soul Bossa Nova, and Morpheus. Morpheus is a really good song, and I believe Jessica has a link to it on her blog. It is supposed to represent a dream and nightmare encounter. Anyway, after that we played music and slowly our band practice came to an end... Then I went to class where we had an informal Spanish class and also learnt that out teacher is from Goa, and if you have read my past posts you will know I went there in India. So, while our teacher was explaining her background, I was whispering the history of Goa to her, mainly how it was annexed by the Portugese and how they have their native language with Portugese words in it called Konkoni. We also received a song we will be singing for the Black History Month Assembly, which is sung in a South African language. Some people, with serious problems, rearranged the first letters of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass and created "STAB" which I believe shows the signs of a disorder. They desperately need Dr.Phil. Anyway, next it was time for math where I tried to do my math but was interrupted by the 2 feuding relatives sitting near me. It was funny, but a little hard to concentrate. Also, Devoniesh and I created a new method for answering algebraic equations, the A. I am sure you have all heard of Fibonaaci and Gauss, and now we have the Devoniesh way. Next we had French again where we took up our homework and learnt how to count to 10 in Spanish, a very phonetic language. Next we had adivisory, here we were had to silently do something productive. Most people read, the person sitting next to me did his pointillism, which he was ranting about to me and I was working on my French. While I was working Rosalie told me to pass a note to Alice. Being the inquisitive person I am I decided to glance at it, only to find it was written in some mathematical language I thought I needed a P.HD to understand. Glad to get the paper out of my hands I passed it to Alice, she wrote something and told me to pass it to Rosalie, so I did, once again failing to comprehend the meaning. Then Rosalie came up with a reply and told me to, once again, pass it to Alice. This time I was determined to understand it, so I took it and flipped it this was and that. I guess I must have looked really funny because the people around me were laughing. Then our teacher asked what was going on in a strict voice. I was so scared I did not look up again. Then I kept quiet and finished my French. Slowly advisory came to an end. Then, it was time for lunch. For the past few days Jessica, I, and a few other people in our class have been eating in Mr. Vincent`s room, or the other band class. It is always fun because Aisha, Anonymous, Harleen, Sonia, and Bushra are there. The eating part of lunch was very uneventful except for that fact that Jameson, or anonymous stole Jessica`s lunchbag and its contents, again, and I had something very gross in my sandwich. I think it was cocktail sauce... This was the result of having my brother`s lunch and mine switch. He got my burger and I was stuck with a cocktail sauce sandwich. Because my lunch was so bad, Jameson took pity on me and gave me one-third of Jessica`s Split Stix. Then, lunch was over and the eventful part of my day began. Jessica ran away into the music room, and I would have followed but there was a lunch room supervisor who would not let me or anyone else for that matter (mainly me) leave. So, I spent recess in Aisha`s class. You may be wondering why no one went outside, well this was because it was -27 degrees outside. So anyway, when Jessica left some girls in Aisha`s class got into a fight for reasons still unknown. I told Aisha and Bushra that these were the aftermaths of an overly-dramatic class, girls refusing to be friend because of an outside force. Anyway, after a while I got bored and Aisha did too, so she went to sit with a group of kids play Truth or Dare, while Bushra and I examined a Romeo and Juilliet DVD. Let`s just say this:

  • Romeo was wearing a tourist T-Shirt
  • Juilliet looked scared
  • It was weird
Then, we heard a lot of laughter coming from the circle of kids, seemingly someone doing a dare. I decided to go watch, so I sat beside Aisha on a desk. Just then some kid went on www.browngle.com and the boys (all Indians) burst out in cheers... Anyway, after that they told the kid on the computer to search ``box head`` on Google Images and see what turned up. This may seem like a random thing to search for, but apparently they called Rohit ``box-head``. Anyway, some really funny pictures turned up and everyone was laughing except Rohit. As if on cue with Rohit`s offended attitude Harneet put a box on his head and said it was a ``perfect fit``. Rohit got mad and threw the box. Somehow it ended up on Prem`s head and Aisha thought it was well suited. Eventually, the game resumed play and Kunal dared Prem to propose to Bushra, he was very dramatic, he took his sweater off and got down on his knees and everything, only to have Bushra say ``NO!`` before he was even finished. This resulted in a flood of ``Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh`s!`` from everyone. To comfort Bushra Aisha left me and went to sit with her on the other end of the class. Now, while everyone was laughing and distracted, Kunal whispered to Amandeep, as we all turned around we saw him go up to the kid on the computer, put his arm around him, and make kissing noises really close to his head. When Amandeep came back he was cheered on by Prem, only to have Kunal tell him he did not do it right. Then Amandeep said he did not hear anything else and for Kunal to repeat what he just said. Kunal told him to forget it and said he had something else instead. Getting a little bored of this exchange I turned around to see the box on Prem`s head again. While I was laughing I heard Amandeep call my name, when I turned my head around I was shocked to see his arms held wide and a wide grin on his face. I you can probably tell, Kunal, being the idiot he is, dared Amandeep to hug me! Now, this was not completely shocking because he has hugged Jessica, Sonia, and Harleen before, though that was last year. Anyway, cringing away from him I said no. He told me to get it over with, and with the pressure of the audience I sighed and did. While I did the ``Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohs`` broke out and Harneet said hugging him was a ``once in a lifetime experience,`` a statement which I did not comprehend at all. After the embrace, I ran to Aisha and had to deal with her nudging me. Soon, about 5 minutes before the bell rang, Navjeet said it was her time to do a dare. So, Harneet dared her to get out of the class. Everyone agreed, except me. Knowing it was not my class and I should leave too, I began to get up, only to have Harneet tell me I could stay. I was flattered, but the bell did ring so I had to go. On my way out I went to get my lunchbag, only to have Amandeep standing right there with his arms open wide again! I ran the other way, to have Kunal ask to hug me. I said no and left. That was a weird lunch hour. Then we had art where I got complimented on my pointillism of ``The Scream``, my favourite painting. Then it was time for Social Studies where we copied notes, and Jessica came to me near the end of class showing a hilarious picture in a textbook of a woman looking like a man. From the facial features to the structure of the body, it screamed transvestite. Then we had language, (ugh), where Mr. Jacobs gave us new topics for debates and read stats about how girls are smarter than boys. While he was reading Saigeeth (the annoying kid) was singing absolute gibberish and expected me to laugh. I got mad and told him he was acting like a nuisance and his behavior was ridiculous for a 13 year old boy. Slowly after that the day ended, but not Saigeeth`s torture. He is on my bus, which meant more singing gibberish. Anyway, soon I went home and studied for my geography test. That is all.

Dev? Is that you? You are the only one I can picture asking that question. I don't know, I just saw it a few times and took a guess.
