Some things in life do not make sense. Oh Jesus, why?

Today was a day with emotions polarized to inverse extremes. On one hand, I was happy we got new music, on the other I was upset about my explanation for a language grade. On another I was elated with the fact that I got straight A's and on another I was sad I did not get one grade for math when I did really well in that strand. Lastly, I am excited we have graduation pictures tomorrow (I want to see everyone all dressed up) and on another note I am feeling, well, I violently dislike some people because I did not make the badminton team.

My day as a whole would be classified as a "pretty" good, because I did not get hurt by someone or something, considering I usually do, though Alice and Dakari did poke me... and also because I did not get any homework. Who would not be happy if they did not get any homework? As for the specifics, I feeling like typing today so you will get paragraphs, but "you" can mean all of my supposed blogsphere friends or that lonely stalker who has nothing better to do.

This morning was great because one of my friends who has been on crutches lately and not riding the bus was back and she was in a good mood (if you are a friend you will know what I mean). We talked about her leg and how it was feeling and my dead sweater*. Yes, I said dead sweater. If you need an explanation I will add a footnote at the end. Anyway, when we came to school or in other words arrived, we split off to class. As I was walking down the hall way I saw Dev's straightened hair which made her look muy fabulosa. I also hugged her and wished her a happy birthday. Anyway, when I came to class I began ranting about something else which happened on my bus. While we were getting off I was standing behind Praveen* when we both realized he was taller than me! I could not believe it, so I denied it and told him I could not believe it. So, feeling somewhat smug when we got outside he got two kids to measure us, and the verdict: he is taller than me. That made me feel bad and took a heavy toll on my self esteem. Anyway, as I was saying when I got to class I whined a little about that but eventually I was back to my normal self and began telling Jess and Dev about the great New Moon fanmade continuum I read.

Then we had computer class in which nothing important happened because Jess, Dev, and I had to work on our Black History Month (even though it is over) video on Halle Berry which sucks. In simple words we were thriving to finish it so it has no display of our technological skills. In fact, it looks (to use the words of Dev) S-Boyed. Anyway, when class ended we were still not done so I guess we will not be expecting an A+.

Next we had music where we got the sheet music to "Mars" and "Somewhere Out There". The songs were cool but nothing beats "Morpheus". We also played some old favourites such as "Crunch Time" and "Fidgets". After music came to an end I went to put my clarinet away and walking into the hallway, and Jessica though I ditched her. Little did I know my incasual walking up to her meant we were walking to class together (sorry Jess). When I got outside I saw Jameson holding Saloni's (a girl in my music class) pencil case hostage. He claimed she deserved it because she hit him, but I said he deserved it more. For that he said he would never give it back, and it was funny because as soon as he said that he dropped his own pencil case and I took the opportunity with open arms. Because Jameson is short(er than me) I held it in the air and said I would not give it back until he returned Saloni's pencil case. In the end, he complied.

After that "adventure" we had language arts in which we read expositions. In other words, nothing interesting or worth blogging about.

Then, when that ended we had math. While I was walking to class I passed the gym in which I saw kids lining up for their turn getting their picture taken because it was graduation picture day. While I was looking at the kids I saw Amandeep* and boy, did he look... different. His hair was gelled up so he looked taller and his glasses were on. In other words he looked like... Oh gosh I do not know, just really different. Anyway, when we got to math we did a math test which I am having bad thoughts about. I also did not finish.

Then we had lunch in which Dev, Jess, and I talked about our blogs and people on them and CHEESECAKE!

At recess Jameson and Harleen got into a fight, Aisha explained a math concept to me, and Ian almost fell.

After that we had math again where I finished my test and Dev and I talked about random things. I know what I am getting her as a present but I can only hope she has not already used the item. I also had to save Guneet's sanity. Then, when the block ended and I was cleaning up, I heard Ian say the most odd thing in the world, "I saw Jesus at Derek's house!" I looked up from my books and thought, "?". Later I found out that Derek has a cousin who supposedly "looks" like Jesus and the whole day after that he kept on saying Jesus and singing... I do not know about that boy- not at all.

Then we had science where we had a teacher who made us question whether or not S-Boy is really dumb, or if it is an illusion. The funniest part was when she was telling Mayur how to say his name and told him the meaning, and Mayur sat there with his head down and was nodding. It sounded so FUNNY! Also, we had to do a sheet, which I finished, and Derek continued to act like an idiot. He also claimed the teacher "has it coming". Considering that fact that he is a pyromaniac, I do not want to know what "it" is.

Lastly, we had French in which Dev, Guneet, Jess and I did not work and talked about random things. Well, what can I say, we were getting our report cards! In the end we have an album called "Les soleils sombres". We also got our report cards then and I got straight A's! So, like any group of kids would do we spend the rest of the block going around the class and comparing marks and talking about them. Mayur asked how many A's I got, and I told him, and then he laughed and said, "What's new?" For some reason I found this really funny. I swear, that boy does not even know how hilarious he is.

At the end of the day I had badminton tryouts which I did not make... I thought I did well, I hardly dropped the birdie, but from what I heard a lot of good people did not make it. But, I am happy because Kavita and Aisha made it through.

That, **wipes forehead** was my day.

*Dead sweater: On Sunday I put my fake fur sweater in the dryer (I did not know what would happen) and it came out with the fur tangled and matted. No matter how much I tried to comb it, it would not heed and now it is "dead".

*Praveen: A kid on my bus who used to be the shortest and I used to tease him about it.

*Amandeep: A guy who was in my class last year who Jessica morbidly despises.

OMG LOTS TO COMMENTZ!
Heh...
Dead sweater..interesting.
Continuum has 2 u's.
The video's not that bad, and no we can't expect an A+, because it's not graded.
I only thought that because we USUALLY walk together, if you hadn't noticed.
You mean Salome(I think that's how you spell it)?
I do not morbidly despise Amandeep. I generally despise the guys of Jameson's class. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. And he looked like a nerd. HIS SHIRT WAS TUCKED INTO HIS PANTS!!!
What are you getting Dev? I honestly don't know yet.
He was singing, "When You Were Young." Get it into your head! =D
Considering the fact that he is a terrorist, you mean.
Poor Mayur...
YOU DIDN'T MAKE IT THROUGH?? -hugs-

Okay, let's reply...

Yeah...
It was my favourite sweater!
I know, but I figured I would test Chrome's spell check, and much to your delight, it did not catch that.
Well, it still would not get us one.
I know, but sometimes we don't.
Really? Everyone says her name differently.
Okay, okay. It just seemed like you did.
Can't tell :)
I know!
Yep.
I know...
Nope. Thanks.

Good mood? Nonononono. Did she LOOK like she was in a good mood at recess?
YOU TEASED SHORT PEOPLE?!?!?!? How could you? You have brought great shame upon me.
Oh, is that who she was?
She kicked me! She did deserve that!
You forgot to add that I dropped your binder onto the floor. You make it sound like I'm a dwarf.
Once again, I was winning that fight.
Were we suppposed to be surprised you got straight As?

And make Poptarts and waffles and pancakes and stuff.
I know why you got a low Language grade :P
First off, you spelt "language" wrong in the first paragraph, and second, you have a very interesting spelling of "wipes."

:D

What wrong spelling?

In your post:

DARN IT YOU FIXED IT I HATE YOU.

Stealthiness rocks! :)

Jessica said...

It's not very stealthy if you ask me to prove it and then I actually go up and notice.

Ghazal said...

What ever.

Jessica said...

-gasp-
I am offended.

Jessica said...

Because you used the word "whatever" as two words?
Your stealthyness can't save you now.

Ghazal said...

Would you believe me if I said I meant to write it like so?

What. Ever.
