As witnesses slowly come up to speak, the police are doing the best they can to identify the assaulters of two boys aged 9 and 11.

A police officer of the Edlington Police Department, Yorkshire closes the scene of the crime.
According to Jean Wright, a local resident of the former mining village, Edlington in Yorkshire, northern England; she and her husband saw a boy walking past her house, splattered in what appeared to be red paint.
"He was shaking very badly and going into shock. We managed to get his name out of him and my husband told me to call an ambulance."
After reaching the hospital in what doctors claimed to be in the “nick of time” it was discovered that the boy had suffered from a serious assault involving bricks, knives, and cigarette burns and he was going to need surgery on his arm.
After recovering consciousness a few hours later, the boy told the police that his friend had been with him, and they were riding bikes together when they were attacked by two strangers and beaten up. His friend was later found lying face-down, at the end of a stream suffering from fatal head injuries and covered in dirt and blood.
The reason for the attack is still unknown, but English Prime Minister, Gordon Brown’s spokesman claims the premier would be following the “shocking” case attentively.
Prime Minister Brown’s spokesman also included,
"Clearly, this is a shocking incident, as everyone else seeing these reports will have seen,"
"There is a police investigation under way, so it would be wrong to say more at this stage, but obviously, we will follow the case closely."
Shortly after the announcement was made, officers arrested two boys from the neighbourhood, ages ten and eleven and they remain in custody, though officers are still carrying out house-to-house enquiries.
The names of the children involved in the attack are not available because the English law prevents the press from disclosing any information of minors in crime situations.
Lastly, though the names of the children could not be indentified the police have concluded that during the attack, the cell phones of both children, 3 pounds or 4.5 dollars, and shoes belonging to the boys were taken in the attack.

Fatal head injuries means he died.
If he's in hospital, he didn't die.
And some of it is random coloured.
And I just realized the ScotiaBank in your background.
What about Scotia Bank?
I just noticed there was a ScotiaBank building in your blog's background.
I swear, I just opened the page and it was there.
How could someone hurt two innocent children? It makes me concerned about what kind of sickos are loose in the world today :(
I agree Micah. The worst part is, the police arrested 2 kids around the same age.
