We started poems in language arts

And my weird teacher said we have to write 5, but they can't rhyme. How weird is that? Anyway I wrote a poem which I am not going to hand in (it rhymes) but I thought I should post it. I figure, if you guys like it, I will post it on dA. Perhaps you could help me with a title too?

Do you hear what I hear and see what I see?
Or is it just my hallucination that you once loved me
My heart was stolen from me many years ago
By the one who flew away from my life like an injured crow
I was dressed in flowers and ready to be his
When all that time we were just friends and I could never be a
Mrs.
Dressed in white I ran to your door
Hoping I could make you change your mind and want
More
Alas you threw me on the floor leaving me to wither in
PAIN
As my effort to bring you back blew with the wind-
in VAIN

Yay! Epic Win!
And I would understand if they COULD rhyme, but they didn't have to.
Think I should write a vague and ambiguous poem about recent events?

Why not? Go ahead.

if i were to write a poem bout recent events......lots of things would happen

Ghazal said...

But this was not about recent events, I was just inspired to write it.

@Caulin yeah mine would be like that too.
@Ghazal and hopefully it never will be about any of your life.

weird? we never write poems that rhyme in L.A.

Ghazal said...

But he demanded that all of them not rhyme, shouldn't we be allowed to if we want to?

Jessica said...

^^especially since he was going on 24/7 about the personal thing. Maybe we should boycott handing them in or presenting them because they're too "personal."

hmm... sometimes poems are better if they don't rhyme...
thumbs-up anyways :P

Thanks Matt. We should Jess, but he already asked us to "voice" our opinions of his teaching style today.

I just have an issue with the crow bit. never liked crows, yet a raven is still one of my favorite birds. I suppose I'm just weird :P

Jessica said...

@Ghazal...he did? And I'm the one who listens in LA...

Jessica said...

Yep.
Nothing else to do.

**Shakes head** You are a disgrace... :)

Jessica said...

:P
I am, aren't I?
Well it's not my fault he moved me to the other side of the room and therefore I have zero means of communication with you.

Ghazal said...

I wonder why he did that. We did listen to him...

Jessica said...

It's true.
We were, like, his best students.
:P

Ghazal said...

But, he hates us.

Jessica said...

He didn't hate me before.

Ghazal said...

When did he start?

Jessica said...

When he moved me(that was the day after the whole "my mom calling in about the narrative" thing)

Ghazal said...

That's even worse!

Jessica said...

How?

Ghazal said...

He moved you right after your mom talked to him?

Jessica said...

Yep.
Well, the day after, but yeah.

Ghazal said...

Seems sketchy to me.

Ghazal said...

Then again- everything he does seems slightly sketchy.

Jessica said...

Or just plain retarded.

Ghazal said...

That is true too.
