Today, as we round into the Sobeys (local grocery store) parking lot, my brother was pestering my parents (as usual) and was trying to get them to take him to Tim Horton's (the best coffee shop in the world). This is how the conversation went.
**Aaron is not my brother's real name
Aaron: "Mom! Dad! Can we go to Tim Horton's after this?"
Mom & Dad: ...
Aaron: Talking to me "Whenever they say nothing, they mean "yes"."
Me: "No."
Aaron: "Yes."
Me: "No."
Aaron: "Yes."
Me: "Not necessarily."
Aaron: "Yes they do!"
Me: "Fine."
After waiting 2 minutes or so...
Me: "Mom, is Aaron dumb?"
Mom: Says nothing
Me: "HA! She thinks you are dumb!"
Aaron: "W-what? Mom! How could you! Is Ghazal dumb?"
Mom: "No."
Me: OH! **Laughs head off**
Aaron: "B-but! Mommy!"
And he complained the rest on the way, into the store.

I love it too. I am never going to forget it. At least, not any time soon.

Great minds think alike?
I suppose they do. There is enough proof to support it.
