Right now it is about 7:30 AM and I am typing this blog post because Jessica claims I have been neglecting my blog, and I have not had time. If I wait until the evening I will have swimming to worry about so as you can see I am taking time out of my very busy schedule to type this post for you guys. Anyway, basically, this post is about a new passion of mine (Jessica likes to call it an obsession, but I think she is the one with the obsession), Naruto.
I was introduced to the show by my neighbours (who are avid Naruto watchers) when I was at their house. We were bored and sitting around their living room, when one of them asked if I wanted to see something funny. I was bored, and decided to say yes. So we go to their computer room, and the kid goes to Youtube and types in Naruto episode 3. As soon as I saw that I said no. He asked why and then I explained how I thought it was stupid because it was anime and all anime except for Pokemon and Inuyasha was dumb. He said I had to watch it, and I decided to watch it, and to my utter surprise (and slight disgust at the time) I loved it. As soon as I got home I opened up every episode and watched it, and at one point stayed up until 12:00 AM for a new episode. I know, crazy right?
Now, either something has happened to my taste, or I am just experiencing the wholesomeness of anime. Anyway, I have a few favourite characters I would like to list, just to keep you guys posted.
- Sasuke Uchiha- This kid is awesome. Sarcasm is his thing and as opposed to all the girls who think he is hot, I like him because I can understand where he is coming from and I do not consider him "evil", though I wouldn't care if he was. He is also the guy who is on my profile picture.
- Kakashi Hitake- He also has sarcasm in the bag though he is pretty cool too. He knows how to fight, and just how to do it, and the fact that 3/4 of his face is always covered he gives off a vibe of mystery.
- Rock Lee- He was a little iffy at first because he seemed like a total idiot, but then I watched some Naruto movies and a few more episodes and he landed a place on my list. Great kid, tries really hard.
And so far those are the favourites. I like Shikamaru too, but I need to see more from him before he becomes a favourite.
Lastly, to make sure I am not losing my sense of taste, I like 3 songs, and I want to see if you guys like them too. Oh, and please listen to the whole song.
And finally, on a side note, I got Rockband for PSP!

Naruto, and all the other anime crappe freak the shiz outta me. And there aren't a lot of things that freak me out. I mean, between Britney Spears, The Pope and Marmite, there isn't much else really. So yeah. I sincerely hope it's just a phase. O.o

I was the same way before I watched it. I really don't know, but for the time being I am going to have to say I like it.
As for the music, I will listen to that song. I like AFI too, but the lead singer creeped me out the first time I saw the video.

And Pokemon anime? The anime sucks it's always the same storyline:
1. Ash Ketchup+friends fine someone/thing in need of help.
2. Ash Ketchup+friends help person/Pokemon in need of help.
3. Team Rocket sets their sights on a Pokemon with relation to the one in need of help.
4. Team Rocket steals said Pokemon with the latest technology that they bought at "Bargain-Mart".
5. Ash Ketchup+friends, who are always coincidently with the stolen Pokemon, uses other Pokemon to get back the stolen ones.
6. Team Rocket is blasting off again and everyone lives happily ever after.
Oh, and watching the anime is too long, and everything looks like mush, eventually, so I switched over to the manga.

They give you Diamond and Pearl, which you buy because it's the newest game of the series, and then they give you the "upgraded" version, and persuade you to buy it because it has more features and the main character has a white backpack.
