This really is the limit

No intro today, just a simple update telling you what I am being forced to do this week.

  • I have a French project due tomorrow (Tuesday)
  • An English project due on Friday
  • A health project due on Friday
  • A mid-term for French on Thursday
  • A unit test for health on Friday
In other words, my week is packed. The worst part of all of this is the fact that I only found out about the last 3 today. How am I going to study all of that material? Can someone say cram? Anyway, I got my English test back today. I got

11/13, 27.5/31 and 7.5/10 which was apparently one of the highest marks in the class. In case you are wondering, the mean of those 3 marks is 84% which would technically be my mark. Anyway, it really sucks because my average was in the high nineties and now it will be swimming somewhere in the eighties unless I get an exceptional mark on this English project. Anyway, it is 8:38 PM here and I have yet to start studying so I think I will go do that. By the way, in case any of you are wondering what I have to do for my health project, the assignment is to make a poster about gonorrhea.

I have a feeling I might short-circuit soon. My mind is like an orgy of facts, figures, and stress.

Orgy...project on gonorrea(I don't CARE how you spell that)...weird.
Anyways, it kind of sucks that you have mid-terms, and your teachers are crazy for only giving you a few days' warning.
:(

What about orgy? Anyway, it is really bad. It is not fair that we barely have any time to study. I don't care that today is Monday, 3-4 is not enough!

I would suggest that you invest in a planner, or even a large calendar on which you can write stuff down. I am not calling your organisational skills into question, I am just saying that when one's schedule is so packed, it is easy for stuff to slip through the cracks.

Your grades are fantastic: I know, we're Tracy Flicks, and we don't really like B's, but, often enough, that is the best on offer. So, what you have isn't a commonplace 'B', you have a 'B' that stands for BEST!

Good luck, darling! Welcome to the rest of your academic life, we're privileged to have you!

*hugs u tightly and doesn't let go* :(

:P
Look up the definition of "orgy."
And my mom says that she apparently TOLD my IBT would be really hard, but I dunno.
Do the regular kids have mid-terms as well?

@GossipGuy: I do have a planner, and it is full of assignments, due dates, test dates, and various other snippets of information. I can confidently say I would be a mess without it.

Thanks, I suppose the "B" will have to do for now... I was right though, my average is now 85%.

Thank you, can you please tell me if it gets better after this?

@Matt: **Hugs back** I wish I could get a real hug... :(

@Jessica: It is hard, but I can always go to a regular school if my grades drop significantly. As long as I make the honour roll, I should be okay. Lastly, they do. It really sucks.

As long as you make the honour roll? Then why are you complaining about your average?
Oh, and use Gmail Calendar. It's simple and pretty coloured :)

Of course it gets better! As time passes the unnecessary frills are trimmed away, and what remains is exactly what you like. By the time I was in the 12th grade, I was only studying human biology, chemistry and linguistics I(in explicit detail, mind), but I was as happy as a clam! Krelboynes forevermore! Always be a Tracy Flick! The world needs more of our kind!

Alright, that is good to know. The day I am able to drop physical education and business will be the happiest days of my life. Don't worry, I will always have that Tracy Flick-esque.

Don't you have to take business every year?

Ghazal said...

-.- Yes, but it gets better after grade nine. In the next 3 years we actually learn business as opposed to "introduction to information technology".

Jessica said...

Ahh.
Now that makes sense.
Hopefully you get better teachers too.

I know. I want Mr. Andras. He is very easy. A lot of my friends have him and they barely have any homework!

I see?
I think.

Yeah... Dysfunctionalism is key.

Jessica said...

Er..right.

In the program.
