High school registration

Today my friends, was my high school registration. In a nutshell, a day when you go to your high school pick up your schedule, agenda, get you picture taken, and sneak a tour of the school- uh, I mean... never mind the last one.

Anyway, it was quite good, meaning I did not get lost and did not embarass myself, and, I made a new friend! While I was waiting in line there was a girl standing with her dad, and slowly my mother and her father made small talk until they discovered we lived in the same area in India, her father and my father have the same occupation, studied from the same university, and they used to work at the same hotel as my mother in India. It was a lot to take in, but I am glad anyway. I have someone to sit with at 4 period lunch.

I also snuck a tour of where my classes would be as we were leaving, and I have to say, I am elated my business class and English class are right next door to each other. As for my other classes, not bad, the kids who were giving out schedules said I had good teachers and I was fortunate not to get a Mr. Jones? They said he would have made my math class unbearable.

I happened to see quite a few people I knew, including some people from my old school, who I did not say anything to because I was too shy. Yes, I know I need to talk to them, and I will, just not now... okay?

After that I had to go to the dentist's- and am getting braces on Wednesday, so if I really know you, the next time I meet you, I will have braces.

Lastly, my schedule.

Business
English
Gym
Lunch
French

Well, gym right before lunch should work up your appetite! xD
Good schedule though, what about semester 2?
Did you find out if you need notebooks?
Oh, and as for the braces, I am going to stalk you on Thursday, ok?
Nice to know you have a friend :D

I know, for the first time in years. For semester two I have,

Geography
Math
Drama
Lunch
Science

Yes, I need a few, and my laptop on the first day.

I'll watch out.

Yes, it is.

xD if you switched Business with drama, your first semester would be all arts(plus gym), and your second would be all sciences/maths.

I am not with Kanishkan or Sonia though. We even have different lunch schedules! Oh well... At least I will see them at the end of the day. :(

Jessica said...

Oh, god, don't tell me you're with Dishwasher.

Kanishkan said...

And the beginning. I don't who I'm with, maybe Neesarg, Allana, Brintany, Sonia, not please not Aishwariya.

Ghazal said...

I don't know. One thing that is worrying me is the fact that if I do have a class with her I might talk to her, and... **shudders** become her friend. **Chokes**

Jessica said...

OHMYGODNONONOPLEASENO.

That is really all I have to say.

Ghazal said...

I know. I will try to avoid it.

Kanishkan said...

Now I have to make new friends it's been a while.

Ghazal said...

Hey, you, Aishwarya, and Sonia have lunch together. I have no idea about Neesarg, but at least you will know people. Hopefully Alana got 4th period lunch. By the way, so will I. None of my classes match with you guys.

And none of my classes match with you guys!

I haven't even gotten my schedule yet, though.

Ghazal said...

What time is your registration anyway?

Jessica said...

There was one this morning but I'd have to wake up at around 8, and so we're going to the 7pm one.

Kanishkan said...

lazy butt

Jessica said...

Oh shut up.
My mom had a doctor's appointment anyways.

Ghazal said...

What about Aisha? When is she going to get her schedule?

Jessica said...

-shrug- I dunno.
But they have this VIBES thing for the enhanced students the day after she comes back.
I'm wondering if she'll get to go...the forms and money are due today.

Ghazal said...

What is "VIBES"?

Jessica said...

It apparently stands for "Very Intelligent and Bright Enhanced Students" or something like that, which is kind of a dumb name, but oh well.
It's some sort of workshop thing.

Ghazal said...

Try corny, though it will be a great way to make new friends. A senior was telling me about a program called "Unity" that I could join to make a lot of friends.

Jessica said...

-gasp- A senior talked to you!

Anyways, I guess it will be fun, we get to debate :D

Kanishkan said...

Actually they were walking around with papers asking if we needed help.

Jessica said...

Shut up Kanishkan, I said "end typical cliche movie version of high school."
Can you not READ?

Ghazal said...

Yeah, they had "bracelets".

Jessica said...

o.0

Ghazal said...

I know, that is exactly what I thought.

Jessica said...

xD
My schedule fails at life.
Actually, my school fails at life.

What did you get?

Jessica said...

See blog post.

Ghazal said...

I saw it, it's not that bad.

Jessica said...

If you ever see the school, you might think it was.
But I guess it's okay, like I said it'll take getting used to.
Plus unlike you lucky people, I don't have any classes next door to each other.

Ghazal said...

Heh heh. :P
